Situated alongside an operational Naval Air Station you may see fighter aircraft going through their rigorous training procedures (dependent upon operational demands). Inside the museum you can go on-board Concorde and be transported by a simulated helicopter flight to the 'flight deck' of the aircraft carrier HMS Ark Royal. A combination of two enormous projection screens coupled with a real aircraft form part of a spectacular simulated launch sequence, which makes this a truly unforgettable attraction! There is a children's adventure playground, a licensed restaurant and gift shop which is stocked with a wide range of aviation-related gifts, clothing and confectionery. Directions The Museum is situated on the B3151, just off the A303/37 at RNAS Yeovilton, Somerset. Accessible from the M5 motorway, junction 25. Opening Times Open April to October daily from 10am, November to March, Wed - Sun from 10am. Open all public holidays and half term. Closed December 24th - 26th.
