History is brought to life with interactive displays and fascinating exhibits. Kenneth Grahame's much-loved tale is now at the Museum in a spectacular permanent attraction. Every one of EH Shepard's famous illustrations is brought to life in an enchanting recreation of the classic English book. Using many theatrical and audio-visual techniques, models, lighting, and sound you are magically transported into the world of Ratty, Mole, Badger and of course the irrepressible Toad. Special exhibitions, family activities and events are held throughout the year. Opening Times Open 7 days a week. 1st September to 30th April, 10am to 5pm. 1st May to 31st August, 10am to 5.30pm. The Museum is open throughout the Christmas period except Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
