Bowhill House & Country ParkThe Scottish Borders home of the Duke of Buccleuch & Queensberry, KT, is at the centre of an extensive estate of hills and valleys where history and landscape combine to provide a unique opportunity to enjoy culture and countryside at its best. The attraction of Bowhill attaches not simply to the grandeur of the house but to an outstanding art collection, superb French furniture Sevres and Meissen china along with a fine collection of silverware.
In the courtyard you will find a range of interesting things to see and enjoy, including the Victorian Kitchen with its amazing collection of original Victorian cooking utensils and the Visitor Centre giving estate and wildlife information. Visit the exciting Adventure Playground and the Country Park which has something for everyone. Ranger led walks and children’s’ activities throughout the summer.
Bowhill Theatre has a full programme of music and drama throughout the year. |

Country Park: 10am - 5pm on 22nd - 24th March, 29th March - 13th April, weekends and bank holidays in May and June, daily in July and August.
