Weald & Downland Open Air Museum

The Weald & Downland Open Air Museum is one of the country's leading museums of historic buildings and rural life and can be found just north of Chichester, West Sussex. More than 500 years of architectural heritage is represented, including Bayleaf medieval farmstead, a 17th century working watermill and the Downland Gridshell. See traditional farming in action, a working Tudor kitchen, and rural trade demonstrations.

Opening Times

2 Jan ­- 27 Feb Wed, Sat and Sun only, plus daily for Half Term 18 ­- 22 Feb.

From 1 March open every day until 23 Dec, plus daily for ‘A Sussex Christmas’ 26 Dec to ­1 Jan 2009.

Opening times 10.30 ­- 6pm during British Summer Time, 10.30 ­- 4pm rest of the year.

Adult £8.50, over 60s £7.50, child £4.50, family £23.30
