Loseley Park

Loseley Park has been home to the More-Molyneux family for 500 years. Sir William More, a direct ancestor built the house in 1562 at the request of Queen Elizabeth I and today it features many fine works of art including paintings, tapestries and furniture from the 17th century.

The Walled Garden is based on a Gertrude Jekyll design and is made up of five individual gardens, each with its own theme and character. These include the award-winning rose garden containing over 1,000 bushes, the white garden, the extensive herb garden, the burgeoning organic vegetable garden and the strikingly colurful flower garden. Other features include the vine walk, and the ancient mulberry tree which has been a potenet symbol of the family's fortunes for centuries and lies close to the moat walk with its extensive herbaceous border.
