Hylands House

Hylands House is a beautiful grade II listed building, surrounded by over 500 acres of landscaped parkland. Built 1730, the original house was a red brick Queen Anne style mansion difficult to imagine from its appearance today! Subsequent owners set about modernising and enlarging the property and added the east and west wings, a colonnaded portico and covered the House in white stucco, which produced the neo-classical style house you see today.
