Entertaining guides give fascinating tours throughout the day. A visit to Leighton is an opportunity to see many interesting pieces of Gillow furniture, original paintings and object d'art or to wander through extensive grounds and the pretty walled gardens. Trained birds of prey give a breathtaking flying display at 3.30pm (weather permitting). As well as the house and grounds, Leighton has a children's play area and caterpillar maze, plant conservatory and charming tea rooms. The house is open to the general public during the summer months only, but pre-booked groups and function bookings are welcome all year round. Weddings are a speciality and the Hall has a license to hold civil ceremonies for brides looking for a fairy-tale venue. Leighton is a perfect choice.
